Karen Forrester, the UK managing director of American restaurant chain T.G.I. Friday's, has revealed the business has plans to open at least 20 new venues in the next three years as the brand reinvigoration continues.

The World Bartender Championship began in 1990 as a compettion among bartenders and has grown into an iconic celebration of T.G.I. Friday’s® heritage, expertise and innovation in the beverage industry. Today, the exciting competition includes 8,000 of Friday’s® most experienced bartenders and engages loyal fans and restaurant patrons across the globe.
Regional competitions of the World Bartender Championship are held in the restaurant and country level in August and September each year. Top contenders continue to the division level in October and November which are hosted by Friday’s® franchisees.
